On 26th September 2017 at the age of 64 and having served tea for 43 years China recognized my services and awarded me at International Tea Forum in Enshi, Hubei along with International Tea Commeettee chairman Ian Gibbs, American Tea Association chairman Peter Goggi, Malaysian Tea Association vice-president CK Liew for our outstanding performances – giving me reason to steam ahead on my work on Tea Diplomacy
